Most Bible-based battle plans for purity insist that flesh-starving accountability is the addict's only way to escape a porn/sex addiction. This despite Scripture’s clear teaching that there is another way of escape. A wholly Spirit-powered way (Galatians 5:16).
I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh (Galatians 5:16).
That most Bible-based battle plans for purity are not teaching wholly Spirit-powered escape from lusts of the flesh is shocking! Shocking indeed! And is the very reason why A Way of Escape was written.
